Enhancing Team Performance

Learning Objective:
To learn and practice the skills required to train, motivate & retain a productive team, within a 2000's 'developing the individual' focus.

Target Audience:
New Supervisors, existing Supervisors wanting to increase their skills, and other staff identified as  potential new Supervisors.

Content:
Value of coaching, On-Job-Instruction theory, models & practical exercises, adult learning,  coaching styles, designing & writing simple session plans. Meetings and how to make them work  for the whole team. Delegation process & planning. Cost Control. Team dynamics, improving  individual performance. Performance Feedback Meetings (appraisals) & practical exercises.
Each person takes part in the team production & presentation of a training session.

Length: Three full days.
Format: Workgroup interactive
Maximum number Participants/facilitator: 15
