Learning Objective:
To learn and understand basic Accounting principles and terminology.  To interpret financial  statements and reports.  To understand and prepare budgets and cash flows.  To learn what is  required to keep accounting records for your accountant and the Inland Revenue Department.


Target Audience:
Staff are exposed to certain accounting information on a daily basis and it is important for non- accounting staff to develop or improve their knowledge of accounting.  Can be structured to fit a specific need.


Content:
A review of the accounting process including basic terms and concepts.  What records you  need to keep to meet the requirements of the IRD and your own accountant.  The steps  involved in preparing budgets and cash flow management.  Analysing and interpreting  financial statements and reports.


Length: One full day
