Learning Objectives:
The purpose of the Management Development Centre is to improve participants ability to think strategically about their work and to help them develop the skills to build winning teams.
Target Audience:
Experienced Managers, Senior Managers, Middle Managers. Newly appointed Managers
Content:
Computerised business management simulation. The management simulation exercise is an interactive business game designed to place two or more companies in a business environment competing with each other. The primary objective of the exercise is to assist participants to discover and implement decision making techniques and principles of management in a simulated environment, which closely models the business environment and business organisations. Topics include:- Team decision making, Project management; goals, expertise, communication, trust. A Fishbowl exercise that focuses on teamwork planning, group functioning, vision, expertise, procedures and communication, and trust. A Mediacorp exercise. Participants complete an individual learning diary for personal development based on their experiences within the centre.
Length: Three full days
Format: Workgroup interactive, Computerised Business Simulation, Team Exercises
Maximum number of Participants/Facilitator: 12
